Introduced in 1950 by the Kaiser-Frazer Corporation, the Henry J was an attempt to build an affordable compact car for the folks who couldn't afford to buy a new car. It didn't sell well; after all, you could buy a Chevy 150 for only 200 dollars more, and the Chevy had a trunk you could open! Drag racers looked at the little Henry J differently; it was small, it was light, and it had a short wheelbase. So if you stripped it down, swapped out the Willys four banger with a big honkin' V8, and add some chassis mods, you got a fantastic gasser!
This kit is moulded in white, with clear and plated parts and soft vinyl tires. It features a flip front end to access the blown 427 SOHC engine, opening doors, and all the necessary bits to build your own quarter-mile terror.
