Revell 1/24 1956 Ford Thunderbird

The first generation on Ford's Thunderbird was introduced in 1955, as a counter to Chevrolet's Corvette.  Hard to imagine when you think about what the T-Bird would grow into by the Seventies; from sleek little two-seat roadster to big, bulky "personal luxury coupe."  Of course, the less said about the 2002 T-Bird, the better, am I right?

This kit is moulded in white, with clear and plated parts and soft vinyl tires.  It features an opening hood to show off the detailed 312 V8 engine, a removable hardtop, and that "Continental kit" spare tire out back.
