Aoshima 1/24 1985 Lamborghini Countach 5000QV

You had this poster on your bedroom wall as a kid.  You did.  We all did.

The Countach debuted in 1974, and was in production until 1990.  And the name? That's the Piedmontese exclamation heard from bystanders when you drive this sexy little wedge of a car down a busy street in Turin.

This kit depicts the LP5000 Quattrovalvole version, which debuted in 1985.  It's moulded in white, grey, and black, with clear and plated parts.  It can be built as the 1985 or the 1988 version, and can be built with the pop-up headlights either up or down.  It can be displayed with the engine cover open, to show off that 5.2-litre V-12, and with the signature scissor doors either open or closed.
