Aoshima 1/24 1999 Mazda NB8C Roadster RS

The Mazda MX-5 (that's Miata to us Canadians) debuted at the 1989 Chicago Auto Show, and became an instant classic, as a successor to the British roadsters of the 50s and 60s.  Over a million Miatas have sold worldwide, making it the best-selling two-seat sports car in history.

This curbsider kit depicts the second-generation Miata, or as Miata nerds call it, the NB.  It's moulded in white and black, with clear and plated parts and rubber tires.  It also includes the parts needed to build a left- or right-handed drive version.
