Airfix 1/72-scale Focke-Wulf Fw190-A8

The Fw190 came as an unpleasant shock to the RAF when they first encountered it in 1941; it was faster and more maneuverable than the Spitfire V then in service.  It stayed in production throughout the war, however, and was thoroughly outclassed by Allied fighters by the time the A8 version entered service in 1944.
