Airfix 1/72-scale Boulton-Paul Defiant Mk I

Known as the "Daffy" by RAF pilots, the Defiant carried all its armament in a dorsal turret, which made it vulnerable to more agile fighters like the Messerschmitt Bf 109. It found success as a night fighter, before eventually being replaced by the Bristol Beaufighter and the legendary de Havilland Mosquito.
